Dr Ann McDougall
Programme Director
Ann has been a programme director at Northwick Park since 1992. She has been a GP partner in a highly regarded training practice for 28 years. Ann has a special interest in mental health and was Complaint Lead at her practice for many years. She is passionate about patient centred care.
Ann’s enduring commitment to postgraduate education in Harrow has resulted in her training a large proportion of the GPs and GP educators in the locality. She has always been passionate about working with doctors to help them reach their full potential doing a job, whatever that is, which will enable them to flourish. Well known for her strong moral compass, sense of fairness and responsibility, she is the go-to person when faced with ethical dilemmas. Ann is the master of reflection and is invaluable when challenges arise. She brings depth and understanding to the GP consultation. Educational moto: keep the patient at the centre of all that we do.
Outside of medicine, Ann is a keen wildlife photographer, a deft interior and garden designer and dog lover.
Dr Suni Perera
Programme Director
Suni has been a Programme director since 2001, having previously been a GP educator with UCL. She is a GP in Hounslow and has a special interest in in Diabetes and has been a clinical associate in GUM. Suni has led innovative projects in community engagement and multi professional education and is the GP Mentor lead for North West London ICS.

So I am very committed to the humanities in medicine: and love bringing the concepts of narrative education, generalism, personal development and Innovation and health improvement into the sessions I lead at the scheme.’
Dr Jane Williams
Programme Director
Jane was appointed as a Programme Director in 2014. She is a passionate NHS GP with a special interest in womens' health and child safeguarding and a GP trainer on the Royal Free Scheme.
As an NHSE Associate Director for Tower Hamlets and Newham, Jane is adept at supporting and guiding trainees who are experiencing personal and professional difficulties through GP training.
Jane enjoys helping to demystify areas of training, for example running exam workshops for trainers and trainees across London. As an ARCP panel chair, Jane brings a deep understanding of the requirements of MRCGP. Jane is currently a core facilitator for the GP Educator Course and LEEP Leadership Programme.
Her educational moto: no question is ever a stupid question. Aside from her professional life, she is very happily married to a Consultant Anaesthetist and has four wonderful children. Together, they enjoy the great outdoors, travel, adventure and fun.
Dipti Khatri
Postgraduate Administrator
Dipti has been the postgraduate administrator since1999.
Dipti and the Programme Directors have worked as a cohesive team for many years to organise all aspects of GP VTS.
Dipti is ever present in the postgrad office and has superb oversight of all aspects of GP training at Northwick Park. She is the font of knowledge on most things and is the go-to person on hospital departments, staff, rotations, study leave and resus training. Dipti is always on hand and helpful for any questions and queries you may have.
Outside of the office, Dipti is a talented dancer who loves spending time with her family and likes to travel.
